Thanks guys, at least things are moving along well now. Pretty sure Ive pulled in enough OT on this last check to buy the headers at the end of the month. Also the Cobra will be paid off the first week of Aug which will be so nice.

those parts look real nice.

Tried making it to Laconia today for Bike Week but the rain stopped me and a friend while we were in N.H. Three other bikes continued on but I'm glad I turned around. That rain sucked and was cold. My jacket has a waterproof liner but my jeans were wet and made for a cold ride back.
The cold damp weather is not conducive to seeing partially nude chicks. So that was another reason to turn around.

Sucky start to bike week. Having to see you in wet skin tight jeans would make me turn around to.

Best part about the parts is that the powder coating was free. Just had to pay for shipping and the sand blasting. Saved about $120 vs getting them powder coated locally

One of Bryans fellow co workers stopped by today and dropped these off....

Here are some long awaited pics of the new heads.

As far as some more info on the heads here are the flow numbers.

Lift Intake Exhaust
.100" ..80 .58
.200" 142 115
.300" 196 150
.400" 258 190
.500" 304 215
.550" 320 220
.600" 333 222
.650" 340 230
.700" 334 236
.750" 340 238

The heads also use 5/16" valve stem, not the standard 11/32" stems. These valves are over 20% lighter then the competition. As quoted by Ed. He said this valve train with the correct push rods will spin up the lower 7K range. They are also 64cc Combustion chambers.

I don't think you want to spin your motor that high.
Piece by piece its looking pretty good.

my engine needs some work but with a lack of time and money its just not happening anytime soon. I still drive it a little here and there but definitely have too much crankcase pressure sending oil droplets out the breather and onto the header.
Right now I have someone doing a bunch of work to the driveway and yard. Driveway was pretty muddy after we moved in and I want to avoid that in the future. So that and some loam spread around the place are costing a lot of $.

That's why I'm staying NA less headaches.

Putting the roller rockers on the drivers side monday. Should have the top half assembled next weekend. Have to get an intake gasket to fit around the huge ports

you still have problems NA. If you want to play you have to pay. You break or wear out stuff either way.

I hope so.
Engine is going to be looking pretty sweet when its back together.
I think you need a electric water pump like I have. Polished pump looks good. Turn the key on and the pump runs to help cool the engine between runs.

Ya I am Fred, no help as of yet. I'm just going to dump the exhaust for now and run the side exhaust when I get the side skirts installed and car painted next year
