Yeah I will fred, Im thinking around march b/c it will be a bit warmer to be working out in the garage by then and yeah its starting to feel like a really long time bryan. I started the head tear down in early september of 2010. Just took so long getting all the custom parts last year that I just did not have time to get it up and running. On a side note I did get some nice new parts to throw on the rear end when it goes back on.

I'm not sure why there is a price difference with doing our rear ends, maybe if we bring them in at the same time they will give us a package discount lol. They quoted me 5 hrs of labor and $440 total

Hey its against internet rules to mention a link and not post it. Pretty funny though. They should have kept them.

I'd like to see how the car runs when you finally get it back together. It's been a long time coming.

yeah way to long. Things are moving along well though. I need to test fit the headers and get them sent off to be coated and get the rear end re done. Those are the two main things that need to be done. Between work and school I just have not had much time out in the garage. I just need to unbolt the motor mounts and jack the engine up a few inchs to get the headers to clear the tranny so I can test fit them, its just to tight of a fit w/ out it being jacked up. I'm going to get that done by next weekend so I can send them off to be coated.

I had better see an 11sec pass w/ out much effort right off the bat.

Look at him caressing the long shaft and the bulbous head. He's thinking of taking a shot in the mouth or somewhere else.

Installed the solid bushings today but made no progress as far as getting the headers up in so I can test fit them. I have one last thing I am going to try and if that does not work I'm going to get a tranny jack and take off the tranny and bell housing b/c its getting caught up between the ear for the starter on the bell housing and the A arm on the K member, the tubes just dont fit through that space. Harbor freight sells a 400lb capacity tranny jack for $80 and Id just go down to NH and pick it up so Id save on shipping.

you can add a little dimple to that header. ee:
Does Harbor Freight have a N.H. location? Didn't know that. Something to keep in mind if I need something.

yeah they do, I looked it up. I have bigger issues though the driver side header does fit up but it will not sit flush with the steering shaft bolted up. I e-mailed accufab to try and figure out this mess.
