I changed it back to Blue Moon. I like the light background. Easier to read and less annoying.

I'll stick with the dark for awhile just for something different.

Gear install update * So Rowe Ford Westbrook did the work for $500. There was a humming coming from the rear while I drove it home. Jacked it up and the rear FRPP Girdle had dented pushed in the body where the spare tire impression is also one of the girdle cover allen head screws was pinching off the fuel line. I took a 5lb sledge and banged in the body to clear the girdle. Doesnt look like anything serious but I will replace that part of the fuel line so I dont break down. Should I say anything to the garage?

Yes, if you develop a problem later on they wont do anything if to much time has gone by. Was that where the humming was coming from? I should be having my rear end rebulit next week in Auburn.

Myself Fred(Fearno1) and Bryan(Gaslight) are still local and have Mustangs. Will be until april or later before mine is on the road again.

Fred I might be calling you about helping to take the tranny out. I tried one last time to get the passenger side long tube up in, un bolted the tranny mount and took off the motor mount but there is just no way its getting up there with the tranny in the car. Depending on the weather but not this weekend but the one after I might attempt it then if it is not to cold out. I want to get the rear end done and back in the car first just so it is a bit more stable. There is 4 jack stands holding it up now but Id feel a lot better w/ the rear end in the car and the jack stands under that when it comes to being that far under it and yanking and pulling the transmission out.

The extended outlook for the weekend after this one looks quite nice. I plan on having my rear end done sometime during the week and either pick it up on friday or the same day I drop it off either mon/tues. So if your not doing anything that weekend Fred we can throw the rear end in and yank the tranny out.

Hope everything goes well with the gear install.

fyi - I found 91 Octane without MTBE at the Oxford Marina for $4.25 gallon last Saturday. The car pulled harder for sure. Only problem is its a 20min out of the way drive for me.

Thanks! $440 is a steal. Much better then the $780 they quoted me a month ago.

Damn I have no idea why your quote was so much more. Even the sheet they printed out for me to sign said $440 on it. I'm not sure if there is tax added onto that but its still a big difference then what they quoted you for. I dropped off the rear end with it fully disassembled so all they had to do was press on the new bearings and then re assemble it and get it all within spec.

WTF is up with all the gas stations in the windham area and beyond not carrying 87 or 91 octane fuel? Had to put gas in the STI tonight and I had to put regular in it which I have never done but I had no option. Anyone else have this issue where they are?

BTW Fred I'll call you friday with my address.
