stalling 2001 mustang gt

Driving to work today in my 2001 mustang gt the car started stalling as i slowed down for lights. If im driving and i put it in neutral the rpms start jumping from the mid 300s to the mid 700's culminating in a stall when i finally get close to the stop light or sign.

I has a 2000 mustang gt convertable that would occasionally do the same thing but my current car is doing it every light that i have to brake lower than 20 ish.

someone help please, if i buy a tuner for this car will it fix the problem.

just curious cause mine is doin the same but its an auto??? what was the issue??? did you have like the heat or ac on???? i believe my ac compressor is shot?? the caronly does it if the ac is on or if the defrost is on....

It is most likely the IAC, based on the symptoms.

Hey guys i have a mustang gt 2000 it has 58,000 miles on it drives great however the sits at 500 RPM at a stop light once the engine has heated up and one time at a light when i turned very slow it stalled. I already replaced intake manfold, gasket , IAC, TPS sensor , fuel filter and had it checked for vaccum leaks but nothing no codes or anything I also use 93 gas and the car has no leaks i'm going crazy trying to slove this problem please help
