Okay Folks,
Here is the problem, 02 GT will stall when I turn right, it starts right up again. I cannot make the car do it again no matter what I do to it, I think it has a mind of its own. Car has 14,000 miles and is driven 3 to 4 times a month, out of those 4 times its happened twice?? Any help with this is welcomed...Thanks

This is a common problem with the newer mustangs. No one has ever determined what it is. Different fixes work for different people. I adjusted my throttle body stop bolt out just a little and that worked for me.

Stall

I hope I don't have to live with it, I wonder if anyone has been involved in an accident because of it. Also some have told me to check my IAC, I might just replace it and see what happens, I will try to adjust the throttle shop bolt. I need to dump it and buy a Tundra! If anyone has any more tips please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Mine did that also when I was making a Fast right hand turn. It started right up after I stopped. I think the fuel cut-off switch might be activated by severe motion. I could be wrong but thats my guess.

accident

I hope this doesn't cause an accident, I'll go after Ford for sure. I just do not want to deal with it. I'll let you guys know what I come up with....maybe a torch! Thanks

my car did it once when i first bought it. then it was fine for a while. then i stored it for 3 months for the winter. when i got it out it did it again. its been fine ever since, about a year and a half. DRIVE the car more, is my solution. its sitting too long.

PARKED

You might be right about driving it more, what gets me is the Stangs parked at the dealers don't have that problem and sit longer that mine. I fire it up several times a week in the garage, then take it out on Sundays. Its always topped off with fresh fuel...who knows maybe the wife can take it out and it happens to her and she totals it!! Thanks for the advise!

Hmm IAC would be the first thing I would check but that's only usually when you're not moving like at a light it would stall out. I've heard other peoples cars stalling when throwing it in neutral and breaking really hard or going around a turn fast and braking (previously posted). IAC just happens over a period of time from gunk built up I don't know about the other thing though, I've not had either of my Mustangs stall on me before. Good luck.

STALL

I hope to replace the IAC tonight just to see what happens, it just pisses me off that you pay for something and it does that crap...I've had a Toyota Tacoma for seven years and the thing runs like a champ! I will let you guys and gals know what happens. Maybe we all get together and send our issues to Ford.
THanks for the help!
