The car was obviously hit from the front driver's side and that fender was replaced.

Depending on how badly the car was hit, it could be that the replacement fender was just not aligned properly or worse yet, if the car was hit harder, they just couldn't bend the frame back properly.

Go back and take a pad of paper and pen with you. Write down the VIN from the dashboard and then check each panel to see if a matching VIN is present. If there is no VIN, that means the panel was replaced completely either with a panel from FORD or one from a junkyard.

The key thing to remember here is, the more panels you find WITHOUT the VIN, the MORE LIKELY the accident the car was in was very BAD.

Hence, if there's no matching VIN on the hood, driverside door, front facia bumper, or light housing unit, then this car had it's entire front end re-arranged in the accident.

Pop the hood and check the fender in the engine compartment. Should not have any creases or signs of being stretched.

Bring it to a body shop and let someone who knows what there doing take a look at the frame !
