And that equals law abiding citizen in that i respect authority. Thats just a one on one scale. Imagine facing the death penalty for child rape. I hate thieves so damn much!!! Just reading this thread makes me wanna beat some of them to death. I can't believe people would risk their freedom for some piddly stuff like a few guages and an old cd player!
I just had a break in in my 1999 dakota about a month ago. They took a case of cd's(mostly burned duplicates anyway), and JUST my faceplate to my 2001 cd player!! Wow!...he was too stupid to even know how to take the whole thing! He did manage to mangle my dash bezels and left my passenger door open killing my battery!

This isn't politics, this is cold hard reality. The reality is that ever since 9/11, the courts have gone to a full scale war against the 10 comandments, that isn't politics, that's just plain stupidity. I don't care about what religion anyone is from, the 10 comandments hold value for any person with a good moral backround.
Criminals are a big problem in our society, and those who sympathise (sp) with it are just as guilty. Some people don't actually commit crime, but they keep thier mouth shut if the police ask them. Thugs have a word for these kinds of people, they call them "snitches" "Yo, snitches get stitches" Yeah, I heard that one before, and I say bring it, I'm a consealed weapons permit carrier and I practice it. You can either be a part of the problem or a part of the solution, there is no middle ground. Criminals raise our insurance rates and the price of everything we buy as well as just ruin our society.
As far as the Muslim "extremist" which I feel the extremist are the one's that aren't terroists because they are so rare. Proof: Al Jezerra is the most popular news carrier in the Middle East. It is very popular out there. They showed on national TV over there all the beheadings, speaches by Bin-laden, and other tapes the terroists sent for everyone to view. If the Arabs didn't like what they saw, they wouldn't show it multiple times. The people would either change the station and/or call and complain, but no they love it and the ratings soar when they show those tapes. I call that damning evidence agains the character of arabs. Yeah, I remember. Islam is a peacefull relegion if your another muslim. No wait a minute, they are killing each other worse than Eastern Europe. Speaking of Europe, they belive the best way to prevent attacts is to sympathise with the terroist and to distance or go against the USA. Well that shows that all the smart people in europe have already immigrated to the USA. Here we are, removing their goverments, bombing the crap out of them and they haven't got a single hit on us since 9/11.
The terrorist are just like any thug, they justify thier wrong doing because they blame other people for their problems. People like that never get ahead in the world. I like your whole post but the answer to your question is that funding Al Quida, Islamic Jihad, and other groupes as well as help recruit the suicide bombers is expensive and hard work. What do you expect them to be able to do everything? geezz.

Best way to avoid your stuff getting stolen is NOT to have a big guage sticking from the hood, a 10 foot cowl hood, momos or anything else that looks tempting. Go for the sleeper look and noone will mess with your car again.
I parked my stang in umass purple lot for 6 years: a remote, partially lit lot surrounded by cover and frequented by drunk frat kids and other knuckle head college students. The kicker: I didnt even have working door locks. I had an amp and woofer too. I kept the exterior and interior stock looking and hooked the stereo equiptment to the stock radio and the woofer tucked under that window shade thing in the trunk.
Now I have my alpine deck behind a hollowed out heater control panel and the fake face of the stock radio still in place. Anyone looking inside will see nothing out of the ordinary and move on. To use the radio, I pull that plastic piece off and I'm good to go.
Oh, as an added bonus, cops dont mess with factory cars much either but love pulling over cars with guages sticking out of the hood and such.
