I have a 1990 GT.
When I try to start the car it make a loud click noise. I checked the starter, trans, clutch, flywheel and they are fine. I turn the crank and it does a full turn and locks, then i turn it the other way and does the same full turn and locks. I am not sure what the problem is. Would anyone know whats going on here?

Thanks

Let say you can put a starting point, i dont know how to explain. let say its a cross(engine) + the top part will do a full turn and will end up the same point before I can't turn it anymore. Then I can turn back the other way and it will stop at the same point it started from and I cant turn it anymore.

Its not the starter and the flywheel or clutch I already removed everything. I am guess something in the engine a rod is broken preventing it from turning any futher.

Did it start before? When you shut down the engine was it running? Now that you are trying to restart, something is mechanically preventing it from turning over? You sure it's not the engines compression? With all the spark plugs in, it will be hard to turn over completely
