Although I am very frightened to post my problem since Sure Shots valiant effort to stop the "noobs" from posting... I do have a problem, and its very annoying... when i bought my coupe, the battery had been relocated to the trunk already and the ground for the battery is like.. i dunno 5 inches away from the battery just screwed into the truck. I have a new starter, I have a new battery, now... why, when i try to turn my car on, does it sound like the battery is low or dead...? could it be because the ground? or is it because my positive battery cable coming from the solenoid is too small(2 awg)? or both..?

i'm for sure of the battery being new, and good... lol, the cable on the other hand, 2 gauge seems pretty damn big to me.. i always thought the further from the solenoid you go the bigger the cable you need.

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A GROUND ISSUE. YOU NEED TO GET A LONGER GROUND CABLE & RUN IT FROM THE BATTERY TO THE QUAD SHOCK MOUNT. THEN RUN A SIMILER SIZE CABLE FROM THE ENGINE TO THE SWAY BAR MOUNT.

THAT IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET A GOOD GROUND ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR. SINCE YOU HAVE FRAME CONNECTORS THAT GIVES YOU A GOOD ROUTE. THE BATTERY IS GROUNDED TO THE ENGINE IN STOCK FORM FOR A REASON.
