HELP starting problem round II
Ok i was having a starting problem before, so I replaced the entire battery cable both neg and pos and the black signal wire to the starter itself.

Car now does not want to start over the weekend after the car first got hot, then would cool down and start like a champ. This morning its 50 degrees out and the car sounds like a weak battery.

Now i am thinking that the starter signal wire is bad between the little plug harness by the battery to the fuse box or the starter itself is toast.

The starter has 7k on it and was a brand new Ford Racing high output mini starter.

Is there a relay that could be overheating?

Could the starter be heat soaking....? Or I know that the old spade connectors that were stock on our starters were notorious for wearing out and corroding. Does this starter have a spade conector like stock on the thin black ground wire? If so that could be it. Otherwise I have a really strange problem that I have band-aided right now. It seems that when my intake temp sensor gets above 110 deg. my car does not like to start and I STILL DONT KNOW WHY. I just moved it to the fender and all is well right now except wehn it gets really hot outside but that hasn't happened yet. Also you may want to check for parasitic battery draining when the car is off. Thats really weird...But i know how you feel I had a problem with starter heat soaking along with the intake temp sensor so there were two things that caused my car to not start and I was flipping out trying to figure it out. Finally had my Dad's mechanic help me out.

No I replaced all the cables with new cables and connectors. My car has a AEM so stock computer issues are not here.

THe car sounds like a dead battery even though the battery is 100% ok.

Sorry i know this is off topic...you have an AEm EMS right? How do you like it and did you tune it yourself if so is it easy to work with? Also how much does it cost? Also do you run it along side your stock cpu or does it replace it etc. Could you give me some details on how it works. I hear you can use it on any car with Fuel Injection and I dunno how that would work. I'm thinking about the EMS (cuz I can use it on any car in the future) or the AFM PMS (but thats only good for our cars) but cant decide.
