Starter solenoid cable length??

Anybody know the correct length of the power cable that runs from the starter solenoid under the engine to the starter??

The one on there now is a universal one and it is way too long. Autozone catalog doesnt show a length and I want to make sure I get the right one.

Does anyone have a diagram of the proper routing of this cable???
