Drove my car to golf course....then after 18 tried to start it. It made a noise...maybe selonoid...or something but didnt turn over. So I have my buddy push me a little, then I turn the key again.. this time the starter turns the car over and it starts. But now the starter doesnt stop spinning. It was not engaged to the flywheel...but it sounded really bad. Like it was rattleing and stuff. So I drove the car...cause I was about an hour from home. On the highway the gages quit for a second and then started working again. Now everthing is ok,....other than the starter. When I turn the key I just hear a clicking. I think its the selenoid. Do you think its some sort of ignitions switch problem..or just the starter. Oh and the starter stopped spinning somewhere on the highway. Thanks for any help.
