Fairly easy. If you have longtube headers, it's a little more difficult. There are just two bolts that hold it in. The top bolt can be a pain to reach; I recall using a fair amount of extensions to get the socket past my header tubes (longtube headers).
Not hard at all. Just a pain to get to the top bolt. Also the top one likes to get seized in there sometimes. It gets kind hot from the header being right there. Having 2 disimiliar metals doesn't help matters much either.
i had to change my starter like last week or so, its not too hard to change just a pain to get the top bolt out i had to take off the passager side tire and unively(spell check) joint shocket to get to the bolt. if it was for that i would have been cursing a lot more and breaking something good luck with yours
That is if you want to replace the bolts when you do it.
Just two bolts and undo the electrical connections and you will have it off. Installation is the reverse of removal and that is that.
Some people put in mini-starters for better torque (starting torque/not engine torque) and a smaller size so they aren't so susceptible to header heat...

about 2 feet of extentions and right in next to the motor mount. Thats how you loosen the top bolt. Otherwise its pretty simple. Get a manual and read it, it will give you some good info. Reading and understanding the proceedure before hand can make your life easy. A starter is simple to some and others dont know how easy it can be to twist the starter wire terminal and ruin it.
