So I picked up another mustang a few months back. These things keep finding their ways into my life. I have owned 5 of them now and every single one has left an impact on me. Now I get to build the one I always wanted to. My first car was a 67 mustang that my grandfather tried to give me at 15 but my dad said "no way is that crap going to fill my garage". 17 years later and I finally got mine.

Break down, its originally a T code that was brown. It has an ... OK paint job. the engine was under powered when I got it which I later found out was due to the fact that it chewed through 2 spark plugs. never seen the centers crack out of them but can only assume that didnt help my cylinder walls.

The engine was hurt and a slow drive on a hot day pretty much did her in. Now i have to build a new engine for it ... and while I am at it I might as well change it to a t5 5 speed, do an 8.8 swap, and modernize the suspension. the fact is that this is a T code 6 banger car that has already been reworked so I might as well make it what I want. At the end I hope to daily it during nice days.

With all of that said I thought I would start making some youtube videos to show the entire build. I know I am not a pro and honestly have no idea what I am doing half the time, but figured if someone else can learn from them it might be worth it. Let me know what you all think ... I know the flaming is coming, I have been a member for far to long not to expect it for example, i know its a lifter valley and not an oil valley but hey you try talking to a camera ... its freaking weird feeling.

I already did episode 1 and 2

@KisStang
You mentioned an 8.8: any reason why not a 9-incher? I admit I'm partial to them, but consider that all 8.8s I've seen recently have that funky big, round Companion Flange on their pinions. Dunno if the old standby U-joint yoke like I grew up with is compatible/available to fit 8.8. Owned an '89, 90, and 93 Cobra, and for the life of me, cannot remember what
the back end of the driveshaft looked like, but suspect companion flange. imp

I WOULD LOVE A GOOD 9 INCH ... but i can get the 8.8 with limited slip, 3.73 gears, and disk brakes for $90. I have built a few bomb proof 8.8s for jeeps in the past so i know them. 3rd members scare me
