also, when do you need a built short block? Is it safe to run a supercharged setup with one?

You shouldnt need one until around 450RWHP. That would be 11PSI + on a KB...and stock its @ 9PSI.

honestly save some more money and get a used blower. I got mine for 1600 plus around 500 for injectors, pump, mass air, etc. Then get it tuned by a reputable shop and you'll have a pretty fast car. My car's been running great since july.

Ive learned that some people must really not know how to drive if they are running 13.9's with full exhaust, tune, and other bolt-ons

Umm, I would buy a remote starter and alarm kit!! Hell even a quick release key chain!

Then maybe some gears. Then save up for a kb.

If I had to do it again then I wouldnt have bought an auto (wifes fault, but I'll end up with a T56) and I'd save all the bolt-on mod money and go straight for a blower. Probably a Novi MPH kit.

That said... you HAVE to do the suspension mods. I cant imagine having stock suspension.

Save all money and put in a supercharger, then fart around with the smaller mods.

The one thing I would have done differently is beef up the suspension FIRST.. it will help you make the most out of any combo you decide to go with down the road.
