first u need to remove the distributor (properly). when u look down inside the dist hole into the block, you will see the Oil Pump shaft that normaly gets inserted into the end of the Dist. Youll need to get a electric drill, and extensions, and the correct size socket and begin to turn the oil pump shaft using the drill, this is simulating the spinning of the shaft from the cam gear on the dist.. MAKE SURE TO TAPE THE SOCKETS TOGETHER SO YOU DONT DROP IT INTO THE MOTOR. Or you can spend the few $ it costs, and buy an oil pump primer shaft fro summit or your local auto parts store. Its best to remove onve of the valve covers to keep an eye on the oil, once you see the oil being pumped and circulated up into the heads, you should be good. This is for all motors that havnt ran EVER, or have been sitting around for a long time. This is not going to cure your starting problem, onloy protect your internals once the motor has started, bacause most of the oil has been sitting in the pan instead of in the bearings where it should be.
