When i started my car the starter would not disengage. Even with the key pulled out it kept trying to crank over the motor until the battery died. Whould this be a ignition issue or something with the starter?
The starter solenoid (mounted on your driver side inner fender) is the likely cause. You should have immediately unhooked the battery when it did this, you probably hurt your starter a bit because of this.
