alright so here is the deal i was having a hard time starting after engine was warm so i hooked up a battery jumper box and it started to smoke were all the cables hook up into the solenoid in the DS fender ... my guess is a fusible link and now im trying to find out in what part of the harness is it ? anyone else had this problem ?

The coil in the solenoid could simply be burnt up. It is my experiance that a fuseable link is either good or bad. Is the solenoid itself smoking or the cables? Make sure to check your grounds as well.

Where you able to find the burnt up link? I know there is a few right there on the line side of the solenoid.
