Starting troubles with a '68

OK Last spring my mustang started up perfectly fine and ran well. I was out of state during the summer, and it's been at my brother's house, not started since sometime in mid summer. Now it needs to be moved so I go to start her up, and the battery is obviously dead. When I jump the car, all the electrical stuff appears to work fine and when I go to start it, all I get is a clicking noise (about 10-15 clicks per second I would say) and no turn over. Took out the starter relay and checker said it was good. What now?

Try charging up the battery for a while before you crank it. Does the trick for me when that happens.

DITTO, if the solinoid is chattering it has low voltage. When it engages the starter draws more than it can get and the solinoid shuts off, once it's off it has voltage again and tryes to run the starter,,,,rince and repeat.

Yes, it's a dead battery.

hehe...i had taken the battery over to a friends house to charge and then FINALLY thought to open her up and see if she needed topping off.....yep, frozen. I was, however, under the impression that even with a completely dead battery you could still jump a car?
