OK... i've been kicking this idea around in my head for a while so here goes...

would anyone be interested in a StangNet static window sticker? a small little sticker to put in your back or front window (for verts like me) that would identify you as a StangNet user?

i put in a request to StangNet to see if they could produce them or if i could produce them if they didn't want to and wouldn't mind me using the StangNet Logo.

any thoughts? ideas? it would be good to have them produced before PonyTrails (if there's enough interest) so we all could have one for the cruise.

P.S. what would be a good price (if i were to produce them myself i'll need compensation) $2 each for a little 3x3 inch sticker?

The furthest I'd EVER go is a small text logo on the small C pillar window.

Even then I'd feel a little bit like rice, but oh well!

i'm thinking something like this...

keep in mind that this is not a messy sticker but a removable static label.

The question I have is how well would you be able to see it? 3x3 is not very big. And might be a little too small to see from any kind of distance. Unless we all had them in the same place. But that being said. I would be interested in them. I think it would be a great way to get more people to our site. And possibly BM saturdays.

On the other side of it. It would be a way to let BM know who was with us. And who wasn't. That way any troublemakers would not be associated with us.

my thought was that we would all put the sticker in the back window (lower passenger side) so we all know where to look to identify a fellow StangNet-er.

but then for verts they would have to put the sticker in the front window (this time probably lower driver side).

so i guess everyone should just put the sticker on the front lower drivers side, or upper drivers side (more visibility).

just a small sticker that can be easily detected if you know what you're looking for.

I'm up for it. What would be even cooler (though real difficult) is if we could have our screen names on them too.

well i found the window cling stickers and i have a color injet printer. i'll play with the logo a little to see what i can come up with.

xj220: i like your idea of personalized stickers. since i would be doing it at home i don't see why i couldn't do that as well. just have to come up with a good design/font.

give me a week and we'll see what i end up with. if anyone else has any suggestions or designs please speak up!

Hey I noticed you're in Woodinville. Its been awhile since I've been on or been home. Do you have any pics of your Stang? I might have seen it around. When I'm on break my Stang is my daily driver and my dad will usually drive it on Sundays.

If they are able to go on the inside window. They should be able to hold up.

I'd be down.......I'd actually be more interested in developing a more original group name then just stangnet.com, but whatever works best. Just my opinion but I'd like them to go on the quarter windows, not sure if that's what you guys were suggesting.

well i've put together a quick label (1st round of development) it looks pretty good, and it was quick and easy. i'm ordering the labels today and should have something next week. for those who have replied in this forum i'll put your ID's on the labels to identify yourselves. PERSONALIZED!

the quarter window would be great except for it doesn't work with verts! i suppose anywhere on the car would work as long as its visible.

Tarch: SVT is right... the window sticker goes on the inside of the car so it should hold up fine.

i'm going to use the logo i posted earlier in this forum as a first run. i'll print them on 2x3 inch white labels. i figure white will stand out the best. i'll also get clear to compare against. clear might work if i put the persons name in white. i'll bring the labels to the BM meeting next Saturday. (if they're done)

if the first run of labels work out then we can explore putting together something more original for our area. (version 2)

I think I'm going to have to say I don't like that one. When I first looked at it. I thought it said snotpack. But it is early morning. So I'm not fully awake.
