Steeda K member

you are like the 10th person to have one of those, maybe fewer? when i worked there, i spent some time looking at the prototype and those things are extremely beefy!! i think they weigh like 24lbs or around there.. but i would say they are stronger than the stock K..

I don't know how many are out there. I don't think I have seen one on here or the corral. Hope being early doesn't suck lol. When I did my very scientific method of bathroom scale and subtracting my weight I came up with 33 pounds. It is beefy and a very nice looking piece. I think about this time next month I will start the install of everything(LTs, C&C plates, subframes, k member).

I thought the one i had seen before had the"STEEDA" letters cut out inbetween the Steeda Ovals?

Maybe i'm dreamin, Dreaming of gettin one

Looks good though. But as stated previous looks little heavier than say a round bar k-member??

oh no your good, they have alot of street driving time and **** in that thing, its strong

how much weight does it drop from the front end?

The k member itself 33 pounds. I think most typical tublar k members come in at under 30 if I am not wrong. I have never seen a tublar k fail on any of the boards but at the same time my car isn't looking for every tenth. This one looked the strongest to me and allowed for coil springs and stock a arms. I have no desire for coil overs. My car is 99.999999% street/garage lol.

Let me know how the access is to the long-tube header bolts. I would love some serious pictures from under the car looking at all of the header bolts. I need to know if doing a k-member will help alleviate stress when I have to do the clutch or transmission.

There will be plenty of pics. I got a few things to do and buy but should start around this time next month. I really want to get my sub frame connectors welded on the car before I do all this. I gotta wait on the weather to clear and such as well.
