Has anyone had any problems with the Steeda aluminum LCA's. I just read this post where Khaine had his come apart.

http://forums.modulardepot.com/show...id=748&highligh

I have them on my car and after seeing this post wonder if I should look into getting something different? My car will not likely have slicks in the next while but I may be getting nittos soon. Was this just a freak accident or are they poor quality, I alsways though Steeda was supposed to be decent quality? Thanks

that's a broken link.. it has "......." in it.

Anyhow, I was going to get steeda LCA very very very soon. Maybe I'd be better off with something else?

Well, a friend of mine has the adjustable ones on his car for a while now and has had no problems with them. I was going to get the non-adjustable aluminum ones, but I think I might just not worry about weight savings and get the steel ones.

I'm not sure that the steel ones are any stronger, lets try those links again.

Yeah, thats the thread that got me wondering about the quality. However, what I'm wondering is if this is an isolated incident or if others have had similar problems.
