hi all looking to buy a TA ...How is this done and exactly what all is involved to bump up the timing ?...im sure this questions been asked million times ...would be great to get an article of an How to...Thanks
The Steeda timing adjuster relocates the crank position senesor allowing you to fool the comptuer into advancing the timing by means of a rotateable cog wheel.
using premium is a waste of gas unless you are s/c or have your timming adjusted. so if you are stock stop waseting your money on premium gas and save them few dollars at the pump to get mods for your car. and yes the owners manual does sat to use 87 octane. my 03 acts stupid when i put premium in it, and perfect when i run 87.
I put the steeda timming adjuster on the dyno R&D dyno in gardena ca set at zero i ran 259.4hp and 288tq then i set it to 13 and ran 262hp 288tq then set it at 15 and ran 266hp and 291 tq and that was 91 octane also agree that you should run 87 unless you advance your timming Dan
