Steeda Tri-Ax or UPR Blue Thunder???

i dont know how much the UPR one runs, but i picked up my tri-ax for 169 shipped at www.mustangtuning.com it should be here tomorrow. I also have an 04 GT.

Go Triax or Pro 5.0...UPR if you want to save some money...

From what I have read the UPR is similar to the Tri-Ax but certain geometries are not the same. So if you are leaning towards the UPR because of saving $$, I suggest the MRT, I love mine and it is cheaper than Tri-Ax but a little more than UPR. Remember, get what you pay for.

also remember with Steeda it's not just a name you're paying for it's a reputation -

UPR hands down and I've driven all 3 and all are good shifter, for $144 it's the bargin. MRT you need the stop bolts if your going to slam the 3650 around just adjust them right. Tremec say's they have internal one's but they won't stand up to power shifting.........

too often people say you are paying for "a name". no! you are paying for the cost they put into development. once something is out it is easy to copy without as much cost.

people want cheaper and cheaper, then they complain when labor is moved across the seas and american jobs are lost.

Steeda Steeda Steeda. Of course - I sell them so... consider my opinion HEAVILY biased =D.

Seriously though - I'd like to see all three side by side and look for any differences between them. The MRT is produced by Steeda, but from what I know, with "less quality control". Thats not to say the MRT ones aren't fine shifters. The blue thunder is definately a DIFFERENT shifter, produced in Florida at UPRs manufacturing facilities. None of the shifters noted above come from overseas.

I have the blue thunder and I really like it. The handle is really nice and I'm pretty sure the quality is the same as pro 5.0 and steeda. All billet aluminum.
Also I reused the rubber isolator and there is no road noise at all.

I have once been down the same road...

Any of those shifter mentioned is better than the stockers.. you won't regret it.

i have the upr and really love it. great bang for the buck
