steeda underdrive pulley ????

I am installing the Steeda Underdrive Pulley set and ran into a problem. I can't get the Damper Bolt loose. The instructions say you need an impact wrench only on the automatics, well mine is a 5 speed. Yes I parked the car in first gear and set the parking brake, but the shaft keeps spinning as I try to loosen the bolt, even with a breaker bar. Any suggestions.

I put the car in 5th gear, not first and that did it for me. You may want to try that gear.

My spun in 1st gear too. I put it into 2nd, and it stopped spinning.
