actually... YES!! the 5.0 one piece rear main seal crankshafts break at 1-5 rod journal !! IF you use the stronger 302 crankshaft, you will need to have the "oil slinger" at the rear removed ( for the two piece rear seal to the one piece seal), and then the assy balanced, or use the early flywheel and dampner!! Now you are pretty much bullit proof!!
