I made a few attempts to find any threads on this with no avail...is there a way to adjust the steering wheel position with taking the car to an alignment shop? My wheel points at 1 oclock when driving straight, but I have no alignment issues .....its more an ocd thing to me.

Bob Hughes:

I'm not a suspension wizard but it seems to me that you need to adjust the tie rods equally but opposite. That is, the passenger side needs to be made longer and the driver side needs to be shorter. Mark the tie rod with paint so you know how much it has been turned (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 turn, etc.). It will take some trial and error but you can get your steering wheel back to 12 o'clock.

HTH,

Chris
