Ok guys,
I had my power steering rack go out on me last week. I replaced it with the ford exact same unit. The thing I did different is order the poly off rack bushings for it thinking they would help out. Now when I leave my drive way it sounds and feels like it is binding and popping at full tilt when turning. Sorta makes the car jerk a little.
Could these poly off rack bushings be the culprit?
My front suspension is setup with a tubular K and coilover setup. Also caster camber plates.
Im going to remove the offset rack bushings and put the factory rubber ones in and try it.
Any advice or comments?
