steering box

need some info on a steering box i am thinking about putting in my 69 mach. it had power steering but i took it out to clean up the engine bay, and of course, more power. the steering box i have is out of a 69 stang that had manual steering. will this make my mach easier to turn, or am i wasting time with this? any help will be appreciated. thanks. harold

It will be more difficult to turn with a manual steering box but IMHO i like the manual better. When im drivin my stang I feel more "race car like," or more nostalgic with the manual. You have to muscle it into the turns then help the wheel when exiting a turn. It makes for a more fun experience I would say.
