Hey everyone please help. I have changed the control valve and all the lines and tried doing an alignment but the guy couldn't do it because the car was steering to the left on its own when the car is off and when the car is on he said it might be the steering box can that be true i don't want to change it and it ending up not being the right thing to change

When the motor is not running it cant possibly be turning the steering . The valve is more than likely out of adjustment ,when it is running it will turn the wheels what ever direction the valve is adjusted to .

If the hoses are on the wrong ports on the valve or the ram the steering wheel will either shoot back and forth or slam the wheel one direction ,and can break an arm ...your arm .

If you did tie rods you may have them adjusted to one side instead of being centered so the steering box will not turn all the way one direction .

The hoses are all in the right ports. Well let's just say the car is off and I have the steering wheel straight and then I would to let it go the steering wheel turns a bit to the left. If the car would to be on and I let go of the steering wheel it goes to the left. For the valve adjustment is is located on the outside of the control valve

No it is in the inside .It is the part that has the pin in it ,if it is threaded to far one way that will cause it to steer to one direction when running .It adjust the pressure on either side of stud that attaches the valve to the pitman arm. If it isn't adjusted properly there will always be pressure on one side of the ball stud

It has been quite a while since i rebuilt one ,but it will take more than a few minutes because i t it has to be partially disassembled if i remember right .

Alright I adjusted it but no difference I'm going to check the hoses because when I tried to bleed the system the fluid would come out through the top

OK I checked the lines I bled the whole system and changed the slave cylinder and changed the control valve it's still turning to the left

Now is this while sitting still or driving ? Are the tie rods adjusted equally on each side , with the pitman and idler the same distance from the frame rail ,and with the tires both straight forward ?

No I will adjust all that. I haven't checked that out I will check it out right now

I am thinking your castor and camber is so far off the wheels turn from the weight of the car .

Well when I sent it to get aligned the guy couldn't do it for the fact that the tires would turn every time he tried to align it

I would find another alignment shop, or call Gost Busters.

Well I got the car aligned I had to hold the steering wheel for the guy while he did the alignment. S on the alignment is good but the steering wheel still fights to turn to the left. But I discovered another thing. When the car is at idle the steering wheel fights to the left. When I Rev the car is gets very smooth

That is probably the valve then .When the steering wheel is turned the valve tells the ram witch way to turn .If it is adjusted wrong it will turn to the tightest side on the valve .I would say it is adjusted to tight .
