After completing my 5-lug swap I did a quick home alignment to get the wheels straight.

I noticed that with the extended wheel base I have with the 96+ spindles, my power steering rack is at the last few threads it seems right at the tie rod.

Is there any other type of tie rods out there that are longer so I can get more thread to engage. Or whatabout a bump steer kit while Im at it considering it going to be an autox and road coarse car. Anyone know what I can do to solve this problem. I dont want those threads riping out while in a corner.

I think if you goto the store and get some 96+ tie rods you may be ok, but ask for a stock one and a 96+ so you can compare.

That is why i used 95 spindles.

Ive also heard of using taurus tie rods, I just wanted to hear someone chime in. Thanks for the imput though. Good idea.

I went with the 96 spindles because I got them for free with my 03 brakes.

I dont think the threads from the SN95 Tie Rod Ends will match the Fox, so you cant use them!
