Hey everyone! I just finished swapping an '87 tilt column into my '92 GT and everything works! I'm trying to decide which steering wheel to go with and would like to hear from anybody who has done this swap and the steering wheel that was chosen. I'd like to stick with the 14" diameter, that much I know. I've checked out Grant's website, but that's it. That's about it...oh yea, Happy Holidays!!

I personally like the 85-86GT wheels. The are the one that look like a smile face when truned over and are leather wrapped. Check my sig for a pic...

i think MOMO Jet's look the best, but there are also a huge variety of different kinds of wheels MOMO amkes.

i was going to go with one of the grant wheels but then i drove a freinds mustang that had one and it felt like it was going to fall apart if you turned to hard. i would go with the MOMO, i've heard good stuff about them and they evan have one steering wheel that has places to put the original cruise control buttons.

of course if you can find one get the momo saleen steering wheel. But if not then jsut go to momo's website and look, they have a lot of varieties. Friend got one on his bmw and it turns a lot quicker now with it on. PLus it looks awesome.
