hey all, my 5 lug is complete! The turn in is great, especially considering the bullitt springs, and the 99 calipers are POWERFUL. Ive still got some air in my lines and they can lock the fronts easy.

There is one glaringly obvious problem though. to drive straight i have to turn the wheel 90 degrees to the right. I was aware of the alignment issues caused by the spindle swap (im using 95s), so i took it in today and it is still crooked. They took the toe out and got the camber as close as they could to stock (i guess i need those MM CC plates...). The guy there said ill need to disconnect the telescoping steering shaft and turn the wheel straight, and reconnect it to whicever spline is closest.

Has anyone ever had this problem when they did 5 lug? I would think the guys should be able to just turn the wheel straight and thread the tie rod whicever way it needs to go to go straight. Maybe there werent enough threads? I didnt ask him this question at the time.

When I did my conversion, I had the same issue until I took it in for an alignment and I told them up front I wanted the steering wheel straightened when they did the alignment.
Fixed.
