Sticky Clutch

It is either bad cable routing or the cable itself is gummed up inside the rubber/plastic housing.

Also the bearing retainer the throwoutbearing rides on can get gauled up and cause a non-smooth "ride".

Good Luck!

OK, i was also told there was a setting that u can tighten or loosen to change the smootheness of your clutch. Is that true?

I am not aware of any setting like that. They make adjustment mechanisms (like a firewall adjuster or adjustable cable) that you can tighten or loosen to make the clutch grab in different locations. But nothing to make it smoother alone:shrug:

What are david and jermey's screen names?
David is 5 Spd GT (posted above on your thread). He is very knowledgable with this stuff and has some nice write ups.

Jeremy is V8 Only. In his sig he has a link to his website which has a good article on clutch dynamics.

Good luck.

OK, cool.

Do you know where i can learn further about a new cable quadrant or learn how to check for a bad cable routing?

Yeah as JT pointed out...v8only (Jeremy) has a picture he will post for you where it shows the proper cable routing and he has tried a couple quadrants out. I believe he likes the UPR 3 hook quadrant (more adjustability). I am happy with my Steeda 2 hook quadrant...

Try PMing him...do a search for his name below

v8only

Good Luck!
