i got a Cool Blue Performance adjustable clutch quadrant with a firewall adjuster for my 95 GT. kit claimed 20% less pedal effort. after installation the clutch was closer to 20% stiffer. its a triple hook aluminum quadrant and its on the 1st hook - i got no instructions with the kit nor any literature. the company suggested i post this question here to get some answers (pretty sad when the company cant answer). the cable is on the 1st hook right now.....if i reposition the cable to the 3rd hook, will that soften the pedel effort? if so, that would free up about 2 inches or so of clutch slack. will that extra slack (length) slap the back of the cover on the trans that covers the linkage for the clutch?
