Still Got Vehicle Not Responding

well think about a regular computer.. if your computers hard drive is bad it doesnt respond or says "w.e isnt resposnding" i would look to see if your computers bad.. i mean you could of shorted it or gotten something in there.. did you check the diagnostic port wires?

ddi you mess with any of the 8 pin connectors on the drivers side behind the strut tower or did you leave those alone.

No power to the diagnostic port. All the wires either look to be pulled down to ground level or provide ground for testing purposes.

My best guess is that the computer power ground isn't working like it should. Remove the passenger side kick panel and the plastic cover over the back of the computer wiring. Locate pins 40 & 60 (black/lt green wires, computer power ground) and probe the from the rear (wire side). Turn the key on, and measure the voltage between pins 40 & 60 & ground. You should see less than .5 volt. More that that and you have a bad ground or bad wiring.

Locate pins 37 & 57 (red wires, key on computer power) and probe them from the rear (wire side). Check the voltage between them and ground. It should be the same as battery voltage, +/- .75 volt. Low votage here is either a failed ECC relay (located on top of the computer & hard to reach) or a fuse link that is bad. The fuse links all live in the wiring bundle by the coil & starter relay.

Your test readings look good. Your problem is probably not in the wiring. See if you can find a buddy to borrow an ECU from to troubleshoot your problem. If you are Mass Air, then a A9P computer will work with both 5 speed & auto. A9L works only with 5 speed (that's what I have been told anyway). I don't know what the options are for SD computers right off the top of my head.
