I posted previously about the problem I've been having with my car. Its a 91 gt. a couple of days ago I was driving and the car completely died on me. I checked everything and alls I could find was the fuel pump was not turning off when I turned the ignition on. The car wouldn't start. I replaced the fuel pump relay and the relay to the ecm and still nothing happend. After that I replaced the computer itself with an auto computer out of an 89 gt. It started right away. Yesterday on my way to work the car completely died again. I switched relays around and the computer out again and nothing happened. I looked at all the wires and theirs a green/orng wire that's fusible and a white wire that are just snipped. I tried messing around with them and I still got nothing.

Can someone please shine some light on the subject, this is my daily and I need it to commute to work. Sorry for the long post.

Have you checked the ignition coil or the TFI control module because when they get to hot they could cause the same problems you are having.

Sounds like a bad fuel pump. After it dies. Are you getting fuel and spark?

IT could be the fuel pump if you have not replaced it. BUT check the TFI and coil out too.

Have you pulled codes?

As noted, you need to narrow it down to being a fuel pump issue or ignition issue. Your best bet is to run the Cranks but No-start checklist in the Tech Sticky.

Good luck.

I havent been able to pull any codes or troubleshoot at all. I fried 2 computers within a week. Its as if i used a high power boost pack and blew the computer up.

This is bad timing, the forged 5.0 i orderd came in from lmrs along with the 255 fp. And im finally going to be able to run my novi, but now i cant tune or even expect to run the car because i dont have a computer. and they keep friggen biting the dust!
