FRPP may or may not have production blocks anymore.

A good low mileage used block is just as good, some might argue better.

older, broken in stock blocks are better to build off of. They have been heated and cooled many times. Just make sure theres no cracks and you get the deck and bores checked. It will be cheaper. Or just go with a sportsman for a grand at your door off of Jegs.

Just FYI - BMW M series cars all get a used engine block that they rebuild because they have been 'broken in'

Ford sells a 347 short block and some short block assemblies but that is about all.

Junk yard motors will be your cheapest option. Just make sure you don't get a really bad motor
