I believe it is a 70mm throttle body on 96 and up GT's. As far as going up in size, you have to be careful on a stock engine. You will surely get more air in your intake, but this will make you lose some low end power. Consider making some other mods before you just go bigger on the throttle body. Hope I helped!

Well I have a TB spacer here I was going to try on my 96GT but the bore measures 70mm, its originally for a 97-03 F150 4.6L. So I was just wondering if the 4.6L in the trucks did have a larger TB or the bore in the spacer was just to big.
My buddy just installed a spacer he had gotten and beleive it or not we really noticed a difference. So I am going to try it out
