Stk Throttle body size on a 96-04 GT??

Anyone know the stock throttle body size on a 96-04 4.6L?

Whats a good aftermarket size to start with on a pretty much all stk engine?

I believe it is a 70mm throttle body on 96 and up GT's. As far as going up in size, you have to be careful on a stock engine. You will surely get more air in your intake, but this will make you lose some low end power. Consider making some other mods before you just go bigger on the throttle body. Hope I helped!

Wrong try 65mm! The biggest

Now I assume a crown vic TB is also 65mm..pretty sure I am right about that.

But would a F150 4.6L also have the 65mm or would it be larger?

stock F150s should be 65 too , but I have heard that some E150 vans come with a stock 70 mm not sure on that though .

Well I have a TB spacer here I was going to try on my 96GT but the bore measures 70mm, its originally for a 97-03 F150 4.6L. So I was just wondering if the 4.6L in the trucks did have a larger TB or the bore in the spacer was just to big.

My buddy just installed a spacer he had gotten and beleive it or not we really noticed a difference. So I am going to try it out
