Hey everyone i just got a 04 mustang gt and im new to the mustang community. Im going to be getting some bolt ons for my mustang and as far as performance upgrades how should i go on about them if im going to be doing it little by little. So far im stock and im thinking about getting a tuner or an CA intake first for it is what i can afford. but i would like for you guys to help with some suggestions if u could. Thanks:SNSign:

if you plan on doing all the bolt ons it really doesn't matter what order you go in. I got a catback first b/c I wanted mine sounding good. Go for what you can afford. A K&N drop in filter is around $50. Welcome to stangnet. These guys know their stuff.

I love my exhaust. Hard to get good gas mileage though. I like hearing it. I am shooting for gears, TB/plenum and tune next.

Ballin. I got smoked by a civic the first time I went to the track. He had a chute though so I wasn't too upset. I got him off the line but then he blew past me and ran a 11.01

If i were to do it all over i would do Gears first, then Subframes, than headers/midpipe/catback. Then id lower it with springs and shocks/struts. Then everything else

+1, except I'd get a tuner first. That way a speed calibrator and mil eliminators would not be needed.

If its a 5sp, get a mgw shifter, best mod for just driving the car and you will not regret it for $200, then I would go exhaust, cause that is the best thing about a mustang.
