Will stock 5.0L Headers fit on an 1986 302 in a 1966 body. I have little money and I can get these rather cheaply. Would it be better just to get a set of JBA Shortys?

I looked at this for a '92 5.0l in a '65 - the headers would have hit the shock towers (by a lot). Short answer is no. I went with the JBA shorties, which fit by about a hair.

Red65 is correct, I tried stock 86 headrers in a 67 and there was no way.

i hate to say this but look down the holes on the stock headers then manifolds. to me the manifolds appear to have bigger openings
