Stock Alarm Removal

Alright, the little switch in the kicker panel down by your feet is a valet switch i believe. You can enable your alarm or disable it from that. You should buy a manual from autozone and look at all the diagrams. The main alarm is in the trunk of the car on the drivers side under the plastic moldings mounted on the fenderwall.

OK are we sure this is a factory alarm? There should be no switch with the factory keyless entry/ alarm, what does your remote look like? the brain for the factory unit is in the trunk on the drivers side , far as removing the wires you would be chasing it forever, they join a main harness and travel the the front of the car, just take the brain and such out and you will be set. If it is an aftermarket alarm it will more than likely be under the dash somewhere, follow that switch in your kick and you should be able to find it good luck Dan

disconnecting the alarm in trunk "brain"?

If you take out the "brain" in the trunk on the drivers side, then the ignition is cut off, and the so is the fuel pump.

the brain has two connectors which plug into it - when you remove the brain, what do you do with those two open connectors left in the wiring harness? do you just plug the two connectors together or something? How do you get the car to run again?
