Believe in 93 stock gears were 2:73's with an option to get 3:08's.

There is a way to calculated if for sure by turning the wheels and counting driveshaft revolutions.. but im not sure what the formula is.

For an auto, the selection should have been the aforementioned 2.73's stock and 3.27's optional (seems to me that 3.08's are for manual cars in '93).

Shadetree gear ratio testing: Jack up the rear end and mark the tire and DS (chalk, a little piece of tape, etc) and turn the wheel one revolution. If the DS turns 2.75 times, that's 2.73's; 3.25 turns is 3.27's, etc.

Good luck.

Check your door tag, and see what it says for the gear code.

I had 273's in my 1993 auto...

Turning it 10 times is more accurate. Not a big deal when telling the difference between 2.73, and 3.55s, but it can be hard to tell 3.08 driveshaft revolutions from 3.27 revolutions. Its easier to differentiate 30.8 from 32.7.

Geez, 2:73s in an auto must suck. I have those with a manual tranny and I hate them. Although I love the gas mileage.
