Believe it's 3.27 for manual transmissions, 3.55 for autos.

I thought it was 3.27 for V6 and GT and 3.55 for Mach1 and Cobra.

The 2004 GT comes with 3.27s for manual trannies, 3.55 for automatics.

2004 was the first year for this.

Well I'm a Ford tech and every 04 I've checked at work (GT's) are 3.27 . Maybe we're stuck with 3.27 in Canada only

I've heard the rumor about 3.55's in Automatics, but nobody with an actual '04 Auto has confirmed it. So i'm still skeptical.

Jack up the car in neutral with chocks under the wheels, mark the drive shaft with some white out or chalk. Have a buddy turn the rear wheel on complete rotation, count the reveloutions of the dot on the driveshaft. 3 and a half times = 3.55. three and a quarter times = 3.27.

Easy as that.
