I was wondering if and how well the stock jack will work on my car since its been lowered. I have the Eibach Pro Kit and 18" wheels. Will the stock jack still fit under there or do I need to look at getting something else?

take it out and try

if it fits it fits

it would be an excellent opportunity to check the spare tire pressure since youre in there

theres no point in having a jack (even if you have to buy a new one) if the tire is flat

If it's the stock scissor jack it should fit under just fine. If the car is low enough that that jack won't fit under it then nothing will.

i figured as much

i just recommended it since my spare always seemed to go flat. i ended up purchasing a 5th pony rim with a 245/45/17 tire to match the rest instead

my 97 cobra didn't have a jack or spare when i bought it. I have to drive up on 2x6"s to fit a floor jack under the body. A 17" spare is so expensive I think I'm going to get a regular rim/tire since I will only carry it when I'm going on longer trips.

amen. for me, my 5th rim was like 80 bucks on ebay, and there was a spare tire sitting around in the garage from when i had the tires replaced (one was still relatively good) so it was a no brainer for me. definitely beats a donut.

i drive 3hrs at a clip to and from college. donuts do not fly with me on "65mph" limit roads

Ill be driving 20 hrs on my trip with my bike taken apart in the trunk and my dog in the back seat so the donut will have to do. I have brand new tires so hopefully there wont be any issues.
