stock wheel paint question

i know there was a thread on this a little while back but i cant seem to find it..

i have the stock silver 17" rims on my 00 and my center caps look like @ss and i wanted to repaint them... i notices a paint code on the back of the rims that i could probably give to ford for paint but i looked at LRS and they have VHT argent silver paint... is that the same color as the stock ford rims?

id rather paint them then go on a scavenger hunt for new center caps..thanks guys

Just try a couple different rattle can colors til you find the right kind, and make sure to clear the finished product. Worse case scenario, you're out 3 bucks and end up right back where you started.

To go along w/his wheel restoration question anybody know how or whom would get rid of curb rash on those wheels?

cool thanks! i might just say fuggit and buy some scratched fr500's from oe wheels for like 30 bucks a piece and paint the spokes black and do a blue lip
