Mine is still on there. You will have to modify or remove a brace though.

Where do you mount the license plate on a Shelby valance?

In Colorado, motor vehicle requires a front license plate. I guess it would not be wise to put a Shelby front valance on my 66.

Hmm. What if there is no mounting place to put one? Seems like there must be some kind of exception or way around that?? Where is Byers.

Byers is about 45 miles east of Denver.
I do not know of any other exception or way around that?? I would like to have a Shelby valance, but have never purchased one due to the Colorado law.

I think the police let classic cars slide. My wife was pulled over in her CLK in Beverly Hills for not having a front plate and I've been driving my 65 for months with no problem.

You do not need to run a front license plate if the car is registered as an antique vehicle and you run an antique plate on the rear of the car.
