stopleak in a t5?

i know this is kind of a noob question, but my tranny is starting to leak and im curious if i can put some stop leak in it to get it to help with the leaking? or is it only for automatics? and if i can use it what type should i use?

dont use stop leak in anything. esspecially a saleen. fix it right

it looks like somewhere up by bell housing, i think, its hard to tell

is it trans fluid or oil? could be a rear main if its oil

im not going to use it ( stop leak), its trans fluid, not oil.

Sounds like the front imput seal...time to pull the trans...well you can do a new clutch if needed.

Mine is leaking there too. How hard is this to fix?

I just did my T-5 about a month ago. I had never done a manual tranny before and I would say it was way easy to do. Its very simple. I also put a king cobra clutch kit in.

If its time to get a rebuild;
I used Astro Performance Warehouse, they have free shipping on all parts.

They have a combo deal for a rebuilt T-5 world class high alloy, king cobra clutch kit and a cable quadrant firewall adjuster for $1095 shipped.
