Strange Struts and shocks

Ok I need some help.

I got different answers. I wnat to put on Strange shocks and struts.

I have a 95 Gt that I will be putting on steeda sport springs. this will lower the car from 1" to 1.25" overall. I am pretty certain that I should get the Struts from the 87-93 cars, but I got 2 different answers on the rear shocks.

I was told that I need to use the 94/95 style because they have an external bumpstop and the ones for the older cars (87 - 93) do not.

can anyone clear up this issue I have?

Sorry I don't know the answer Jeff. Have you tried contacting strange? I run these same shocks/struts but my car is not lowered.

ya, strange told me to use the 87-93 struts/shocks. I also spoke with maximum motorports and they said that I def needed the 94/95 shocks due to the 95's having an external bump stop and the 87-93's do not.

Guess I was just looking for real world applications. If I dont get any, I will order the 87-93 style since I will assum ethat Strange eng. knows what they are talking about.

I've run the Fox style for 6 months now. My car is lowered about an inch. I've never heard anything about the bump stop though.

I would contact Strange, come back here and post what they tell you.
